Patio Systems · Insulated
A solid roof with a foam core built in — it does everything a solid cover does, and then blocks the radiant heat a plain panel lets through. The coolest, quietest space of the three.
Best for
Maxx Panel is the insulated system. A foam core between two aluminum skins stops the radiant heat that transfers straight through a single-layer solid roof — so the patio underneath stays noticeably cooler.
What it is
Three inches of rigid EPS foam sit between the top and bottom aluminum skins — that sandwich is what stops radiant heat and deadens sound.
The panel carries a measured insulation rating — the real difference you feel standing under it on a hot afternoon.
The panels lock together with tongue-and-groove connections into a clean, continuous, watertight roof.

How it behaves
The foam core stops the heat a single-layer solid roof radiates straight down — the space underneath stays cooler.
It’s a fully sealed roof first — complete protection from the elements, with the insulation on top of that.
The core dampens sound, so rain and the everyday ping of a metal roof are noticeably muted underneath.
Colors
The insulated panel comes in White and Desert Sand only. That’s a manufacturing limit on how the insulated panel is produced — not a stocking choice on our end. The lattice and solid systems carry the full seven-color palette; the insulated panel is the one exception.

Worth being clear about
The other two systems
Let’s look at your space
Because the insulated panel is heavier, how far it can project depends on panel thickness, gauge, and the wind and snow load at your exact address — a permit-and-engineering answer, not a number off a webpage. That’s what the visit is for. We’ll measure and give you an honest quote the same day.
