Patio Systems · Solid
A sealed aluminum roof that keeps the weather out — sun, rain, and snow. Full shade and a dry space underneath, in low-maintenance Alumawood that looks like painted wood.
Best for
Newport Solid is a sealed roof. It gives you full shade, keeps the rain off, and turns a patio into a room you can use year-round.
What it is
Solid aluminum panels lock together into one continuous, watertight roof with structural U-channels for stiffness across the span.
The structural beam runs hidden inside the frame, with a concealed channel for wiring fans and lighting — no exposed conduit across the cover.
A baked-on factory finish with a Teflon® surface protector, in the full color palette — it holds up to Southern California sun season after season.
Manufacturer limited lifetime warranty — and TLA USA matches it 100%.
Sealed solid underside
How it behaves
The sealed panels shed water completely, so the space underneath stays dry and usable in a storm.
A solid deck blocks direct sun entirely and stands up to the weather — an all-season roof, not just a sunshade.
A solid cover carries the sound of rain. For a lot of people that’s the whole appeal — a preference to talk through, not a defect.
Colors
Newport Solid is available in the full palette. The finish is baked on at the factory — not painted on site — so the color stays consistent across the whole cover.
Swatches shown are on-screen approximations — ask to see a physical sample on your visit. Wood-grain is a surface texture, offered on these finishes rather than a separate color.

Worth being clear about
The other two systems
Let’s look at your space
How far a solid cover can project depends on panel thickness, gauge, and the wind and snow load at your exact address — a permit-and-engineering answer, not a number off a webpage. That’s what the visit is for. We’ll measure and give you an honest quote the same day.
