Patio Systems · Lattice
Open aluminum slats that break the sun into soft, moving shade — and keep the air flowing underneath. The look of an open-beam pergola, engineered in low-maintenance Alumawood.
Best for
Lattice is a design choice as much as a shade choice. It defines an outdoor room and cuts the harshest sun without closing the sky off completely.
What it is
Choose the slat profile that sets how much sun comes through and how the underside reads.
A baked-on paint finish with a Teflon® surface protector — it holds its color against Southern California sun and shrugs off the elements.
The structural beam runs hidden inside the frame, with a concealed channel for wiring fans and lighting — no exposed conduit across the cover.
Open-slat underside
How it behaves
The slats cut a large share of direct sun while still letting daylight through — shade you can sit under without it feeling dark.
Open gaps let hot air rise straight out instead of pooling under a solid roof, so the space stays cooler and breezier.
Because it’s open by design, sun and rain both come through the gaps. Lattice is for shade and shape — not weather protection.
Sun-reduction range attributed to the manufacturer.
Colors
Every Laguna Lattice cover is available in the full palette. The finish is baked on at the factory — not painted on site — so the color stays consistent across the whole cover.
Swatches shown are on-screen approximations — ask to see a physical sample on your visit. Wood-grain is a surface texture, offered on these finishes rather than a separate color.
